He had a better game than he's had in the past, but unfortunately he really lacks ball skills. We can play him wide like that, but teams have learned that they can just run out there and close him down and force him into a poor cross. We're not the fastest team getting forward, so when we do leverage his area he's got to hold for a second but he lacks the ability to beat a man to turn all that space into anything useful.
What?
I understood that perfectly -

Do you ??!! Do you ??!!
The team was set up to get Kolarov into those free spots on the left wing - he didnt take advatage of a single oppertunity of the many the team gave him. Not one solitary decent cross.
I thought he was City's poorest player, and has been all Season.
Get off his case...He put in a fantastic cross that the Stoke player nearly put in his own net....and there the was another one in the first half that almost lead to a goal.....Yeah , he was wasteful at times but the lad will learn and be great asset to this club in the next few years.
Are you his mum? This isnt a registered charity you know - its a business, so no, I wont get off his case. He either shapes up or ships out. I dont think he'll make it. My opinion. I contribute to his wages, so I think im entiltled Mrs.Kolarov.
Even IF you were right - two crosses in 90 mins for a player given the freedom of the left wing and should specialise in that particular skill, aint all that now is it?
