Is it Labour's time?

No, because it's a wasted vote here. But it is imperative that this lot are got rid of so that, if nothing else the undemocratic voting system can be looked at.

The shadow chancellor gave a good speech yesterday and what they intend to do if they were elected, I know they all make promises that they hardly ever keep but the tories are not working for the majority of people in this country. So I am willing to give them a chance.

He's really not. The tories have been in power so long because the Labour party made itself unelectable when it dabbled with Corbin & Momentum. It turned away from the centre ground - which is where all GE's are won/lost and from its w/c, industrial roots - and turned itself into a plaything for liberal identitarian middle class twats in the South, ie the sort of background that Corbin & his wacko brother are from.

And, barring huge fuck ups, this is why the tories will continue to be in power unless Labour starts to appeal to people beyond the 'Tory cunts' echo chambers of forums like this one and twatter.
You can play the "all as bad as each other" line and not vote then complain.

There is no perfect part for anyone.

Just think, we’re asking the question prior to any of the big issues really kicking in. We’re only at the beginning of this, minds will change.

I'll be voting for whichever party gets rid of the Tories, that will be Labour in my area.

Ultimately though the political system needs reforming, we should be voting for people we want, not voting for someone because we don't want someone else.

I fear that the Tories have broken this country though, the latest stint they've done may have caused irreparable damage.

If Labour get in they have to make big changes to protect us from the Tories regaining power.

Just seen someone on Twitter say that the Corbynites would rather have a Conservative government than a Labour one under Starmer.

I thought that was somewhat hyperbolic but fear it wasn't.
If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem in my eyes.

You can imagine the kind of messaging in labour HQ this morning.

“Look everyone, We’ve got them on the ropes, biggest poll lead in yougov history, big policy announcement from Kier today, so everyone just stay on message and don’t do anything stupid to take the focus off how badly Truss and Kwarteng have misjudged this budget.”

6 hours later …

Fucking classic divided labour move. Start a race row that casts the most unpopular man in the country in a sympathetic light and steal headlines from the leaders massive policy announcement.
