Is it sad that...

Go to most games on my own usually meet someone to have beer n chat with, met some top blokes

Went on my own for a couple of seasons when my dad couldn't make it. Quite enjoyed it actually. Although I drank a lot more.

I meet my mate sin the pub before and sometimes after but season ticket is on its own, like everybody has said you speak to everybody around you anyway, unless your a social misfit ;)

Here's a mad one.
A match in the 99/00 season I went to a cup game on my own and had to settle for a ticket in the Maine Stand. I took my seat and chilled out for a bit before kick off. Next thing this woman sits next to me, only turns out it was someone who for a few years in the mid 90's we regularly went out on the piss together with mutual friends. What a fucking coinkidink!

I go to the games with my mates, but my season ticket is on my own. But i know everyone around me to talk to anyway. So like others have said, its not a big deal. At the end of the day, no matter who you're going to try and talk to. You've got at least one thing in common with them.

You'll enjoy the game no matter what.

Until i started taking my son last season i sat on my own and enjoyed. You soon start talking to the people around you because your all there for the same reason.
