Is it sad that...

I went to Arsenal in the CC and United away in the CC on my own, it's not as bad as it first seems. You go to watch the game, besides you'll be with other blues.

I think it's a little sad. Not in the 'haha you're a billy no mates sad twat sense', more in a way that you're missing out in not going to the footy and having a laugh with your mates. It can be hard for some youngsters form certain areas what with most kids being rags to find fellow blues to go with. I was in that boat once, but now I go to games and have the pelasure of standing with AntonDonJuan.

In fact, fuck it mate, you're better off on your own

As others have said you may go and come home on your own,but once you are inside, you have 40,000 members of our blue family around you.
Enjoy it,i can only do it every few years.

If it is then im sad cos i go to loads of games alone, not missing a game cos my partner has a work commitment sod that, if anything i prefer it, straight in concentrate on the game and straight out, no messing. Celebrate on my own sing on my own, easy. My nan in her 80s regularly went to OT (she was a red, but a nice one if they exist) on her own and watched the game.

where do you live? you could always get with some other blues and travel/have a beer with them if thats what you want to do. We go from Middleton if thats any good.

I'll be going most home matches on my own next season?

Me Dad took me to City v Blackpool in 1956. I've been to every other match on me own, unless we are playing the BlueDippers and then, out of the goodness of me 'eart, I take renegade son and his pal. My daughter asked me once if I was going on me own - Yeah, i said but I'm meeting 40,000 when I get there!
