Is it time that Onouha was properly part of the squad ?

Better defender than Zaba and Boyata. Maybe not as versatile as Zaba . Bleeds Blue. Baffled as to how a player like Savic can be lauded whilst so much very ignorant personal uninformed abuse is leveled at Neds. Actually it doesn't baffle me.
Savic is 20, has come from abroad and is in his first four months with the club.
He has the potential to be miles, miles better than Ned. In terms of technical ability, passing and composure, he is already streets ahead.
I like Ned, always have done, but don't make him out to be better than he is. He is a decent Prem defender but come on, he's no Baresi. To have a dig at Savic is out of order, Billy.

The same was said about Boyata when Ned's was dropped for him when Mancini first came in. Nothing at all out of order in me stating that players are treated differently on the forum based not on their respective abilities, but certain other factors.

For the record I rate Savic. But people are talking about him being the new Vidic when in actual fact he looked out of his depth at QPR.

Well, I think Ned is a much more reliable defender than Boyata. But Savic is on a different level to them both technically. Vidic had more than a few shaky games when he first arrived at the rags.
I dont really see the comparison myself, I see Savic as more the sweeper-type centre half than the first-ball attacker type like Vidic.

Definitely not. He disrespected the manager, he disrespected the team, he disrespected the club by whining on Soccer AM, and then he appears not to have intervened in the emailgate scandal that cost Cook his job.

Now Cook was an idiot for sending it and got treated accordingly. However, Nedum could have gone public himself (given the mail was over a year old) to pour a bit of cold water on the fire. He clearly chose to remain silent.

Agree with all of that.

Maybe Cook was a **** to him? I'm not saying that's the case but wouldn't be the first I've heard of him being so to players no longer in the club's plans.

Another one with no clue. It's getting boring now.

forgive me he hasn't dropped down the club to the point he doesn't get close to the first team??? I must be missing something and 3 managers haven't signed 4 right backs.....and 5 CBs in the last 4 seasons over giving Onouha an extended run in the first team. It's funny when people attack other posters from the point that "they don't have a clue" and can only do so by attacking the person and not presenting facts. It's clear that there are posters on this board that don't have a clue, but I will leave it to the most arrogant members of the board to police such matters.

As a 'so called' City fan, you would know why players have been bought whilst the lad has been at the club.

It should tell you something else as well, but I hate pointing out obvious things to people that only see the surface of things.

Oh and that Kolarov was bang out of order for kicking off cos he was subbed.

He should do one...
Kolarov is injured. Anyway it's all irrelevant. One man decides who makes what squad now and he seems to have won us the first trophy in a long while. I'll defer to his judgement.

Leaving aside the huge potential of our highly rated 20 year old International, Stefan Savic, I'd like to explore your views on 'players being treated differently' further. I know your post alluded to 'the forum' but would hazard a guess that you also believe this of Mancini? Taking Nedum as an example (seeing as this thread is on him, but, naturally my question could be extended to other players) do you feel that the 'certain other factors' you refer to should be ignored when selection decisions are made?

Yeeaahh... The Kolarov comment was meant to highlight how people can guess at the reason things happen without knowing the full facts.

Sooo...

No, I don't believe it of Mancini - as manager he is well within his rights to fuck off any player who talks out of turn about him publicly. I've absolutely zero problem with that.

However, the point i was making was simply that Bluemoon is hugely revisionist in the way it treats players. Neds and Bellamy are two examples of players who always gave their all for City - but the moment Mancini decided they were dispensable, the forum became infested with "he's shit, he's a twat, fuck him off, never want to see him in a City shirt again blah blah blah". Then again I expect nothing less from some of the immature halfwits who populate the forum.
