Am category A myself.

There should be an A-.
City fan (A-) Lives outside Greater Manchester but lived in Greater Manchester when they started supporting City, Season Ticket holder, supported the Blues from birth, family blues etc

We made it a B+ at the start of the thread. I am the same as you, as is my dad and children. We all started in Manchester and then moved out.

i live in cheshire, supported city all my life, my dads a season ticket holder, my sisters a season ticket holder & my grand dad is a season ticket holder.

ive had my season ticket since 1997 im 21 now

ive followed city all over the country and europe in prem, div1, div 2 and in friendlys.

so what class would i be ?

Heck i even protested outside maine road to get ball n lee out lol!

same mate. i live in cheshire me my dad and brother all season ticket holders in southstand, me personally have been season ticket holder since i was 6, never missed a home game im 19 now. go to about 4 away games a season, go to every european home game, went to wembley.

For me the only way to confirm if you are a true blue would be if you've participated in that timeless classic 'Swales Out' Then we do know you've been through the ringer...!

Now we have well and truly entered the big time, a lot of cling on's will jump on the city bandwagon. I dont have a massive problem with that TBH but I think its very important for other fans, radio phones in's, fellow blues in pubs etc etc to know what type of Blue you are.
Maybe:

City fan (A) Lives in Greater Manchester, Season Ticket holder, supported the Blues from birth, family blues etc
City fan (B) Lives in greater Manchester, supported the blues before or when we were in Division 3
City fan (C) Lives outside Greater Manchester, Supported the blues before we were in Division 3.
City fan (D) Lives outside Greater Manchester, Supported the Blues with in the last 3 years.
City Fan (E) Lives in or outside Greater Manchester, Started supporting the Blues this year.

We need more fans, they will be welcome (as long as they will be here if things go bad again) we need new blood in the Stadium etc but I think its important for the real fans to be recognized, the fans that went home and away for 20 crap years, the fans who stayed loyal when times were bleak for City fans, they need to be known as true blue now the glory years are upon us.

i'm a (C) born in warrington,now live in se london, both me and my 13 yr old son are season ticket holders in 122. my dad(r.i.p) was also a blue,as is my younger brother.1st game was v chelsea in 69

Im an (A) and East Stand Level 3. Just thought Id throw that in for good measure :=). Also I was a Swales out too.

Someone coming over from Ireland who goes to 5 games will spend more than i will on my season ticket & travel for a season.
Point being it's a little difficult to pigeonhole people.
