A number of us had the fortune to know Kevin Kennedy socially as he worked in London during our City Pride days. He had a few stories about Bruce Jones and I think it was fairly obvious he wasn’t really acting.

He got the pair of them thrown out of Stockport County years back etc.

That old chestnut. The amount of people who say that was the last time they watched it is remarkable.

In fact, any thread about Coro seems to attract a lot of people who think it’s complete shite but know a lot about it.

I only knew about Corrie and similar when I worked behind a bar, 20 odd years back now, to chat with the regulars that watched it. Even then, I mostly read a synopsis of the plot to allow the asking of open questions.

People do tune in for the disaster storylines though, just to see it unfold.

Same with the tram crash and Emmergale and their plane crash etc.

i couldn’t tell you who is in it now. Since streaming evolved, there’s no need to have to channel surf these days.
