Is life better with or without kids?

Am going to be in the minority, being as I am without kids and never having had any desire to have any, either. Just don't feel the need. If I want something so dependent on me, I can raise a pet.

a pet is much cheaper tbf

Been raising a kid last few years - never really appreciated how lucky I was. Cant describe the heart ache once you don't see them for a few months.

Hard work but precious and the best part of living.

Have you no rights mate? How many years did you raise him or her for?

With without a shadow of a doubt! My 9 yo daughter is my best friend and loves going to City with me. It's our thing and I buzz off her happy demeanour and despite the fact we only have every other weekend together it's pure, unadulterated joy, amazing!

aye true

but you have to look at the funny side

when one of them was stroppy etc ......after they left the room me & the missus would have a good laugh at how unreasonable they could be

and a lot of what they do reminds you of when you were that age and how rotten you were to your parents

If mine were still alive I would apologise to them for my lousy behaviour

Raised my ex girlfriends baby girl pretty much from birth for 3 and half years - the kid isn't mine.

She's now met another fella and moved away - it was my choice to cut all ties as it won't work. She has a new guy in her life and her real dad has come back on the scene. Don't want anymore hurt to be honest, and it's to confusing for the kid ,Toughest choice I've made and one that kills me every day but did it for the little ones sake.

Without.

There's a reason why I don't have any kids and it's not solely down to the fact I'm ugly as sin.

Go on then...I'm intrigued.
It just isn't. Every aspect of your life goes downhill as soon as you have kids, no matter how hard you try to pretend it isnt or hasn't. I mean there's nothing wrong with anyone wanting kids or having kids but I guess that's down to personal preference.

Oh :/ I thought there was something wrong with your widge for a minute.

Personal preference is right though. I can understand people choosing not to have kids. But in my opinion, you can not live a complete life without having them.
