Is Mourinho really that special?

a shocking Roma side will win the league this year, so no he isn't special.

Mancini > Mourinho

Ha ha ha.

Your personal crusade against Mourinho is pretty funny...I hope for your sake that Mancini gets to keep his job in the summer, otherwise the about face you do may just give you whiplash...;- )

Hang on, people say Mourinho isn't a stayer but he was at Chelsea from June, 2004 to September, 2007 - that is over 3 years and he was pushed out of that club, he didn't want to go and loved it.

If he came to City he would probably stay a while because a). he wants to manage in England, b). it would kill any chances of him going to the rags (who he wants to manage but they won't take an ex-City boss).

All said, I think we should stick with Mancini despite the irresistable temptation of Mourinho.

I'm with you pasta, what is amazing is that billy accuses you of a personal crusade against a manager that we don't even have, yet the fact that you clearly support the manager that is striving to get us to the illusive 4th spot and is our manager gets no mention. eemmmmmmmmmm wonder why!

The point I make is that taking those results in isolation doesn't prove anything one way or the other. Mourinho is a winner, Mancini is a winner, etc. etc. etc.

In the end we will not be deciding either manager's future, but it's churlish to question the record of either manager. They are both in fact very special, which is why they have so much silverware at such a young age in management terms...
