Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

the question "why can't we play like that more often?" springs to mind.
We don't play teams who come out and try and score every week.
We haven't had any of our four attacking full backs for a few games and have missed at least two or three of them all season.
We don't always have Nasri and Silva playing together (we're a much better team with both).
Our forwards aren't always firing in the chances we create.

true, but I don't see why it takes Nasri and Clichy for us to move the ball around quicker, have our players pull away and move the defenders around and create space and to use the wide areas through Silva and even Zaba getting forward. The tempo was much higher today, there was a lot more desire to try forward balls into areas where our players were actually bothering to move into, that tempo made Norwich's 4-5-1 fall apart within 4 minutes.

Our kid knows fuck all - he was calling for Mancini last feb/march

Too many people forget how far we've come in a short space of time and now treat the managers job like the 'superstar' footballers we aspire to sign, yet forget we've actually signed them and have a world class manager..... even if we don't retain the title he should be afforded the right to have another crack, I don't think he will from what i'm hearing though!!!

it isn't up to us at the end of the day but I'd like Mancini to be with us for a long time. I worry about who would bring the best out of the team and stick around to give us stability. not looking for a selfish, quick fix journeyman like mourinho. he's good but is he right ?

I agree.

Over the coming decades there will be loads of years where we don't win anything, but we shouldn't be sacking the manager each time. And besides, there's a double on for us still this season!

A distinctly wild and haunted look in mancini's eyes in the post match interview. Thought he'd be happier to be honest.
That's a very journalistic and corny post.

I had the same look after the game myself. That game drained everything out of me. He'll be looking healthier after he's had his tea, a glass of wine and a cigar; just like I am now!

Bizarrely though, he looked like that after 5 minutes when we were 2 nil up. He almost looked pissed off when we scored. Certainly not a hint of a smile, which struck me as very odd indeed.

Joe Mercer was the most successful manager in City history. So up to 13 May 2012 I would have to say that RM was the most successful City manager since Joe Mercer. But in Europe not so good two years running, money and talent wasted, poor use of players & resources, and the owners faith in RM is the greatest opportunity in football wasted. I am not one of those who shouts for the managers head when we have a run of poor games and poor results. But whether he stays or goes at the end of the season is not as important as the fact we have now re-established our club at the top and broken the old monopoly.

RM will be remembered as a qualified success; the most successful City manager since Joe Mercer. successful to stick it to the reds a few times and bring down the banner at OT. successful domestically considerering all that money at his disposal. RM will also be remembered as the most disappointing manager in Europe considering all that wasteful extravagence on fees and payroll, wasting such a deep talented squad by such poor tactics and disappointing results. RM will also be remembered as a stubborn manager refusing to take advice from those around him, showing disrespect to some who deserve better and showing loyalty to some who consistently let us all sown and under-perform. Thats what happens when you surround yourself with coaches who are friends who tell you what you want to hear.

That Joe Mercer bloke would have been sacked after our shite showing in europe the season after winning the league if the knee jerkers on here had their way...... ;-)
We finished thirteenth in the league and lost to Fenerbhaçe in the European Cup first round. Imagine if we finished thirteenth this season!

If we finished thirteenth this season, Mancini would be rightfully sacked.
