Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the club

Re: Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the clubs

Think we need to get a grip here.

Bar Chelsea's bizarre champions League win last year, English teams have looked completely outclassed in Europe.

United against almost anyone but especially Bilbao last year. Arsenal tonight.

We admittedly have been crap in Europe for a few seasons.

But as someone has pointed out United 2 CLs in 26 years. Should Fergie have been sacked?

Maybe. But the problem is that RM is quite capable of winning multiple PLs. So what do we do?

After what can only be described as an humiliating night in champions league football for the club. The question I am now asking which I guessing is in back of a lot of peoples minds is this it for Macini? Is this as far as he can take us?

I think we all know why he was shown the door at Inter, and this competition has been his archilles heal? Personally I have been questioning where we go from here or a few weeks, and perhaps the coincidence that we have brought in an ex Barca honcho might be a clue for who we are looking at if the trigger is pulled.

But even if Mancini can bring us another premier league trophy this season is that gonna be enough, personally I don't think so. Right now barring a miracle of biblical proportions we are out of the champions league and that just is not good enough.

Shall we go back to the Bad Old Days?

No, because if we beat Ajax we still have a good chance of going through, although we'll probably have to beat Dortmund

Mancini is way too adventurous in Europe. He treats the games like a Premiership game.

Excuse him for having faith in his players..

I dont think you are wrong but my point is where he to be less adventurous you'd probably be the same person calling for his head saying hes too defensive.

The players let the club down and he was forced to go down a dark and strange road of odd tactics to get us back..

I think if he wins the league, he gets one last shot at the CL. If we finish second and go out early in the FA Cup, he's gone.
What a silly thing to say he won the league last season get a grip lad

I'm happy with Mancini, all for him, but success in the champions league is a must, and I know we have difficult groups but we must do better.

Re: Is now the time to consider Mancini's tenure at the clubs

Its took Wenger 13 yrs of CL football , and they've still not won it , and you think Mancini's " times up " after 2 yrs ???? ,
