The problem is that we're not spending enough money, until our owners realize that the team requires serious player investment we will never progress in the CL.

No wait, I fucked up, that's wrong.

We all know from experience that every time we change the manager we have immediate success and win all before us.

I dont think he can do it in Europe. Even with Inter his record was shit in Europe and the same again this season. Strange subs. Its like he doesnt want to rock the boat with certain players. Yaya today was a passenger he should be taking the game to that Ajax team.
He also has to look at Barry in midfield a waste of a player. Not cut out for Champions league football in my view always gets caught out in these type of games.
Zonal marking get this shit out and pick up man for man cuts out the shit. Also the joke that is known. We have some brilliant players but if they cant work for tthe manager and fans then whats the point?

He will be givent he season but another preformance like this in Europe will cost him his job. 1 more go at it and then the club should be looking at it and doing the right thing for the club be it giving him the boot or not.

After what can only be described as an humiliating night in champions league football for the club. The question I am now asking which I guessing is in back of a lot of peoples minds is this it for Macini? Is this as far as he can take us?

I think we all know why he was shown the door at Inter, and this competition has been his archilles heal? Personally I have been questioning where we go from here or a few weeks, and perhaps the coincidence that we have brought in an ex Barca honcho might be a clue for who we are looking at if the trigger is pulled.

But even if Mancini can bring us another premier league trophy this season is that gonna be enough, personally I don't think so. Right now barring a miracle of biblical proportions we are out of the champions league and that just is not good enough.

Shall we go back to the Bad Old Days?
Pink? Lovely!

Some of these responses are great.

"Back Mancini because he won us the league". You do realize Mansour wants champions league success. This doesn't mean winning it immediately. It does however mean that in order for this club to start turning a profit, it will need to play in more than 6 CL games, not just earning only a fraction of the income potential.

This isn't some "oh a bad result sack the manager" thread. We're dealing with a manager that is completely clueless in Europe. What manager in recent memory has been directly to blame for goals going into their goal just because of their decision making in Europe? The Madrid loss... Mancini. Dortmund... Also Mancini.

You lot don't realize that we should really have zero points from 3 games. Tell me, with one of the most expensive squads in history (packed with players experienced in the CL and some that have won it), how can we realistically even have a prayer of getting to the quarter or semi-finals with Mancini?

I want Mancini out. Not because of one terrible result, not because of three terrible results, but because of nothing but abject failure that can be directly linked to Mancini.

He is the problem that he was talking about after Dortmund @ home.

Madness, fortunately the owner and those who run the club are made of sterner stuff.

I do hope however this is the end of the 3 man defense.
