Is our cycle of dominance coming to an end?

In answer to the original question.

No.

Our cycle of dominance is just getting warmed up.

Manchester City have built a robust infrastructure that will continue to grow.

You heard Rooney a few years ago when he was at the swamp "the club lacks ambition". We've heard Messi more recently accuse Barcelona of the same shortcomings.

The project that these clowns mocked is the real deal. Shiehk Mansour wasn't kidding when he said he wanted to own the best football team on the planet.

If you think it's over you've missed the whole point of the project.

This. The whole set up is geared for sustained long term success. We are way ahead of other clubs off the pitch. The whole club has been invested in. Not just the squad.

I think what has happened is other clubs, namely Liverpool, have got their act together so we’re not going to do a domestic clean sweep every year. I still see us as being one of, if not the most dominant club in English football for the coming years.

lapo

Laporte cant get in the international squad.

Only that bad injury prevented him from doing so , the French national team manager admitted they he was about to call him up when it happened.

But until he's totally fit , and playing reguarly, he's not gonna get another chance.

We needed a Fernandinho replacement type player for this league and instead we got Rodri.
Nothing wrong with Rodri, like anyone else new to the PL he needed time to adapt, he also had to play far too much because we had to use Fernandhino at CB.

Imho we'll build around his game at the CDM position, and adapt our play.

Couldnt give s shit if our dominance is coming to an end , we have a brilliant decade that hardly any clubs can compare , having come from a "40 points" mentality to dominating English football then a couple of seasons settling for a top four and a cup win i will take it all day
Yes weve spent millions and our expectations have changed but we are now an established power in the Premier league , and our time will come again , only gloryhunters and bandwagoners lose sleep over our impending demise , when you have supported the club through thick and thin it doesnt really matter , weve witnessed the low and the highs and the bang average , the majority of our support have one thing Rags & Dippers will never experience , perspective and humiltiy.

Liverpool will fade away again when Klopp leaves. Not only that but they got very lucky with some of their signings. Not even the people at Liverpool would have imagined players like Salah would turn out as good as they have done. He was barely a 7/10 at Roma.

I doubt we’ll be as good when Pep leaves but we have a structure in place so that we can challenge with different managers in place and let’s be honest, we’ll always splash the cash if needed as well.
