How you doing on Football Manager at the moment?

God, not Iturbe again Tevez City. You do realise he's been a complete bust at Porto (4 appearances in 2 seasons) and may be heading back to South America soon? He's not the "new Messi" just like Gai Assulin wasn't.

It has been pretty crap but with the arrival of Txiki Begiristain will improve a lot now, he is apparently improving our scouting network in South America and acquiring first refusal on some of the most promising kids there..

Good, because if Atletico can bring in the future Falcao's and Sergio's of this world, so can we.

Aguero was bought for around €23million euros by atletico, and Falcao cost them around €40million, but Porto did sign him for around €5million. so these players in the top bracket aren't easy to come by. I watch the reserves (EDS) about 3/4 times a season and i agree we arent producing players of the quality we are at now. In my opinion from what i have seen Rekik has the best chance of making it. Suarez, Guidetti etc are good players, but I feel that they are not top of the premiership quality but will make a good living out of the game (i hope i'm proven wrong!). I think it will improve though with the new academy and facilities but City have been trying to recruit the best in Europe for a few years.

He may go back to River Plate.

I don't know how he didn't make it with Porto, but many players failed somehow to impress in one team and then shine when they move to another team.

If not Iturbe, Adryan and Halilovic may turn out to be better players than Sinclair.

Perhaps he will restart his career there but I'm not sure why you always mention him, there are much bigger attacking prospects out there now than Iturbe, who was just the latest YouTube wonder like Keirrison, etc. Denis Suarez is probably closer to playing at a high level than him.

Very good site that LoveCity

I have to say reading that list there is a few on there I haven't heard of. Interesting little reports on our own Rodwell,Guidetti and Balotelli as well.
