Might take Mrs Walshy and the girls away for a few days.

Is Tenby any good for a young family (3 and 1 year old) ?

Anything we should do or avoid ?

Any tips appreciated...

Re: Is Tenby any good ?

I went about 8 years ago, and it turned out to be the beginning of the end for me and the bird at the time. the 5 hour drive down there didn't help, then being cooped up in a sh*te b&b in the middle of nowhere with that numpty was the icing on the cake.

having said all of this, Tenby is a lovely part of the world, lovely beach and a nice little centre. its very similar to most british seaside towns, however, its a lot cleaner.

i think if you can occupy them in the car, once you get there you'll love it, and want to go back time after time.

Cheers boys.

Was planning to split the journey and stop for lunch, kids will sleep for second leg.

I'll take a look at St Davids. I don't mind where we stay to be honest.

EDIT ...

Am I going mad or did you just delete your post Mamba ?

nightmare for me too , the ONLY time i've come back from a holiday early , horrible journey , everyone well pissed off by the time we got there , queensburys within the hour , torrential rain for the next 10 days , constant , fucked it off , the only good memory was a family from portsmouth in the next caravan , pissed up by dinner every day and then having domestics well into the night.bag o shite.

Went last summer had a great time have a young family myself and it's perfect for them.
Great beaches, loads of activities like Folly Farm and family friendly boozers.
We stayed right in the centre with FBM holidays let me know if you need any more info.
Fook St Davids off and ignore these miserable fooks.

Give Saundersfoot a look in too. Great beaches.
