I think the only thing that really separates them is Rooney is a bit more tenacious off the ball. very close though.

Equal for me, they both work and both score goals, had Carlos not been away in Argentina and scored goals from the off, he'd be well in front of Shrek by now, not that I'm complaining, he'll just do it next season, ;)
