Is Tevez better than Rooney?

Rooney is better than all them but Messi.

This is just like when people were calling Tevez crap cos he didn't score many and now people are saying he's nearly best in the world. Tevez has always been class and always scored goals, just like Rooney. Just because they're doing better than ever this season, doesn't mean they've been incosistent players.

Rooney's all round game is better than probably everyone on that list (including Messi), but people are only just starting to take notice because he's bagging nearly every game. He'd be better than Messi too if Messi wasn't unhuman. Take the blue tinted glasses off boys.

Absolute rubbish... Rooney is as close to world class as England have. But, regardless of "twatishness" i'd take Ronaldo/Torres/Drogba ahead of him in an instant, Messi has never palyed in the Premier League, but it seems he's currently the popular choice for best in the world so he's above Rooney too. So before we look at non Premier League players; Villa, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic etc he's already 5th.

The bit in bold means exactly that... the fact they're now doing better means they have been inconsistent, otherwise their form wouldn't fluxtuate.

I'll not join in your Rooney wank-a-thon and its nothing to with the club i support... if that statistic about Rooney not scoring from outside of the box for two years is true (i have no idea) thats hardly the making of a world class striker, capable of turning the game themself at any moment. Especially when you consider the amount of movement wide and deep Rooney incorporates into his game.

I don't want people to skim read and think i don't rate Rooney, he's a top player, but i dont think he's top 3 in the world in his position let alone out right.

For me he's a totally different player now, in that world cup he was still raw and new to it all, his first European game for the rags he scored an Hatrick and they were three outstanding goals. He's turned into a different type of player he is a quality all round player but I'll say it again if he doesn't get the service this world cup he won't score many goals. It's just my Opinion hope he scores hat full in the world cup, can't see it though.

I was saying that he scored something like 12 in World Cup 2010 qualifying, which made him the highest scorer in the European qualifying section
What im getting at is that he does get the service he needs at england because we just lump it up to heskey to fall over everyone and leave rooney clear

especially as rooney is a cheat and dives that negates for me any better skills that rooney may have.

I want City to win and be sucessful but not at any cost and I feel that rooney and his cheating ways go over the line
