Is the Champions League worth it?

All the talk about injuries and rotation, I'm just wondering whether the cost paid in injuries to players like Nastasic, Silva and Fernandinho is worth it when we're very likely going out in the last 16 anyway.

Going off the attendances and thoughts of most City fans I know, the Premiership is far more important

Other way round for me.

Winning in the Premiership is the be all and end all for me. I'd instantly trade our wins in Europe for 3 more points in the League

We need to make the most of it this season because at this rate we will not qualify again.

Same here, but make it 5 or 6 points! I know there's kudos attached to competing in (and progressing in) the CL, but the domestic league is the most important trophy for me. At this stage anyway. Win 2 or 3 PL titles, then we can start thinking about a really serious attempt to win the CL. Not before.

If we lift the CL trophy aloft in May I'll be jumping like a loon, but a choice between that and the Premier League is no contest. Be the best here first, and again and again.

Well unless we thrash Bayern t Bayern we will very likely be going out. Even with Kompany I'd back Real Madrid to beat us, and they are one of the weakest of the teas we are likely to face.

I'd have next to no appetite for the game anyway knowing that we are 8th in the League. Competition only matters if you are going to be in it again next season. Right nw, I think we will but I just want to get it right in the league and nothing else really matters

cska are a very average side, I would have rotated for that match and kept the strength for sunderland, a draw would have been fine against cska in the worst case scenario, but that match left us without key players at Sunderland, it is obvious where the clubs priority is, but it certainly isn't mine.
