Yes but we went to wembley and never doubted that we'd win. The subsequent traumas and eventual outcome are what reminds us of its importance. If we'd gone there and romped it 3-0 we'd have a different outlook on the whole thing.

The Gillingham game is why we are here! Agreed!

Now that we've lost I'm obviously gutted but I've still realised it isn't really a catastrophy. In that regard Gillingham, Blackburn 2000 etc are much bigger games. It's just the league cup after all and we're still here looking to make the CL.
