well its been 2.5 years since the OP so not just around the corner when it was posted.

There does feel like there is an inevitability of expansions to existing conflicts. If that would then be classes as a world war tho is in question.

Isreal seem to be on the cusp of going after Lebanon half the time.

If Trump gets in I can see China going after Taiwan.

North Korea is starting to sabre rattle more and more and seems to be building defensive lines within the demilitarised zone.
