I don't wanna say it but yaya needs to do better defensively.
Didsbury Dave said:he defended well in those last few games but it doesn't change the deficiencies in his game. Not quick enough and not dangerous enough going forward. We play narrow and often against defensive teams. He's ineffective in those situations. Watch the title decider to see the problems in glorious technicolor. He was the main attacking outlet because the game was so narrow. He wasted possession about 20 times.smithy167 said:Sure it was Zab who come on strong last 6 or 7 games last season and micah got left on the bench, you post a lot on here but dont really know anything about football that much is obvious.Didsbury Dave said:Been saying it for 12 months. The gap between the first choice full backs( Richards and clichy) and the second choice full backs (zab and kolorov) is huge. Zab is short of pace and offers nothing going forward. Decent bench player as a solid stop gap in several positions, but not good enough to keep starting. Hopefully the new lad will help.
So who will start against Stoke then?Didsbury Dave said:Hahaha trusts him so much he bought another right back ;-)Gaylord du Bois said:The problem with Zab is that Bobby trusts him and now that we're champions certain people are looking for another angle to usurp the manager on here.
We are on different planets your posts in this thread and a few others show it, you aint got a clue you think you do but you dont.Didsbury Dave said:if the best you can do to debate a point is 'give your head a wobble' then we are on different planets mate.smithy167 said:You mean like Micah does, when fit that is give your head a wobble wasnt that long ago you was telling us ireland was the messiah.Didsbury Dave said:Yes, he's a hugely prolific goal scorer and creator of chances. Always beating the fullback and getting to the line is our zab. Those pacy pullBacks and whipped in crosses are the scourge of defences across the land.

And the same bitter people.
I don't think anyone on this thread believes Zab is world class. He's not and neither is Micah. Maicon is better than both despite his loss of pace.kippaxchris said:Didsbury Dave said:he defended well in those last few games but it doesn't change the deficiencies in his game. People don't understand the difference between a fan favourite and a world class player!

The forum appears to be populated with the brain dead tonight. Think I'll leave it till Monday when the bright ones go back to work and want to talk football.
Night kids.
He bought a right back to cover our most versatile player?Didsbury Dave said:Hahaha trusts him so much he bought another right back ;-)Gaylord du Bois said:The problem with Zab is that Bobby trusts him and now that we're champions certain people are looking for another angle to usurp the manager on here.
