I think you mean Nasri & Silva.

We do need another creative attacking midfielder. When Silva is out we miss him so much. Having Isco would alleviate this. Basically we would have 3 players vying for 2 spots and so plenty of game time for all

Don't need Cavani and if we did go back for Isco it woudnt be until the summer, CH will probably be what we are looking at in Jan if anything.

Depends on Pellegrini's status by then. The only reason we had a chance vs RM was the Isco/Pelle relationship. Not an outer by any means and I think it's way to early for those Isco out rumours.
Isco might be surplus in position but, for his quality, he's the type of player you make room for.

Isco was the big missed opportunity I think. He has such quality it is shocking. We needed him for days like today when there is zero creativity in the side because Silva was unable to play. Worst thing about him going to Madrid was it allowed Ozil to go to Arsenal which has been one of the main reasons they are doing so well.

I had my heart set on Cavani.

City have always looked awesome with wide forwards - a la Thierry Henry who cut in from the touchline and destroy the oppositon. Think Dennis Tueart, Trevor Francis, Darren Huckerby etc.

Because of that I just saw Negredo as the really cheap option and I posted accordingly.

I can't remember the last time I looked so stupid; Negredo is a great player!

I couldn't understand the fuss about Isco ( half a cap for Spain in a friendly) and I am more than happy with Jovetic from the little I have seen but I suppose time will tell and I may have got that one completely wrong too.

I'm more than happy with Negredo over Cavani, I honestly wouldn't swap them. Isco would give us another dimension though and I still hold out some hope he will eventually come here.

Struggling? I watched only the second half but I think he was absolutely fantastic at times. Just a bit overplayed some attacks but it was understandable because of their comfortable lead.
