He did a huge mistake choosing Madrid over us. If he had come here 2 years ago, he'd be among the top PL assisters for the season. We probably wouldn't even have gone for KdB.

That's the thing. If yaya has one year left the club could be looking at selling him to get as much from him than him leaving on a free.

He's not going to do that though. He has said multiple times he intends to end his contract here, and then leave for Las Palmas to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Valeron, and play for his hometown team in la Liga.

This is something he's said quite a few times over a few years, so it looks like it's a genuine plan and not just a throwaway comment.
 
Some of these gilfs are fucking brilliant , for what it is worth I think this could happen , quickly
