But why if there is a buyer... They have just seen KDB go for £56m, they paid +£60m for James... Why sell a potential superstar (according to some on here) for £30m

Because they clearly don't value him as highly as Wolfsburg and Liverpool valued De Bruyne and Sterling. Evident by the face he is on the bench(again)

They don't want him and he doesn't want them, if reports are to be believed, so 30mil is a good price for all parties

My two pence worth regarding any deal and the reasoning behind it would be...

We offer Isco a contract saying we will defo use him more than Madrid have for this second half of the season. However the main reason we are getting you Mr Isco is because Pep wants you.
It just so happens there is a situation to exploit here for your and our benefit. That being Real are in the middle of a fight on many fronts, you are rightly a bit unhappy. They may want rid off you just so they can focus on other things.
This helps with messy negotiations possibly if we make a fair offer, they may just accept and wash their hands of this business. That leaves you with us ready for our main attack on Europe and the footballing dynasties. They have their recent and long past glories, we have some but have it all set up for much more new success. You are coming into your prime just as we are ready to stake our claim as European top dogs. We will have many years of success here with you part of that.

This sounds perfectly reasonable as an offer imo.

Beautiful mate ;-)

Nasri and SIlva are the only AMs we have who have excellent close control and who are good in terms of intricate passing. Both are entering their 30's and aren't fit for a full season, with Nasri becoming more and more injuryprone. One of the reasons we are allowing teams more chances is because Sterling and KDB don't keep possession well enough. Games become too end to end. We used to camp on the edge of the opponents area away from home, we haven't been doing that much recently because we are without Nasri

Isco, one of the best players in europe in the above attributes, would be both a short term and long term signing. Some seem to be overlooking the latter.

good post , we may have gone for him if nasri wasn't injured...now even more so !

will be a headache for Pellers where to fit him...but as others have said you don't pass up such an opportunity !

Isco the enforcer.... Lol

He was playing in a midfield 3 with James and Kroos.

He was box to box, making tackles, interceptions and breaking up counter attacks.

Amazing how many people post on here having seemingly not watched him in the last 2 years (if ever).

When Rafa tells you to warm up....
