Please. Please. Please! Try harder than the old chestnut 'he must be a rag' just because he has an opinion. Pathetic.

Wasn't having a go at our owner. I was expressing an opinion on the two supremos we've got running the club.

IMO they are less than impressive.

And someone said was I serious about Mancini being the best manager in the league. Yes. Yes I was. Once ferguson retired he certainly was.

Who is (was) better?

He was sacked before Ferguson retired.

So.. Our two Spanish supremos so far....

- Sacked the best manager in the league for not being nice enough to our multi multi millionaire playboys..err players.

- treated him like absolute shite in the process, damaging the clubs reputation

- struggled to sign pellegrini, but finally got him over the line. (Maybe he was reticent after seeing the way we treated his predecessor ?)

- overpaid for the Brazilian lad.

- and it's looking like they have clutched defeat from the jaws of victory in the whole Isco fiasco.

- oh, and very likely letting Tevez go to a European rival, leaving us with aguero (excellent) and dzeko (lump of fucking wood). This after selling the most promising young forward in world football to another euro rival for relative peanuts.

All the above after being appointed with the express goal of, amongst other things, building a side and indeed a whole club capable of attracting and retaining the best players in the world. On an unlimited budget.

I'm not too impressed with them to be honest.

Has to be on a wind up.

Not our money mate. My season card is bought either way. If we spend £300m this summer it makes no odds to me.

I understand the moneys fuck all but when you look at the talent out there that £54 mil could go a long way. A fantastic player yes who i would love at the club but still its £54 mil.

What would it look like if he flopped ala Torres, Veron, Caroll etc, we wouldn't hear the end of it.
Not really too bothered about "what ifs" in terms of him flopping.

Would rather get him and see. It wouldn't ruin us.

I'm not a supporter who is bothered much by anything really and money has never bothered me (RSC, Bridge, Bellamy etc) i support the club as you of most posters well know mate but in my opinion i'd rather take Lewandowski. I know quotes of no chance blah blah will make an appearance but realistically know one fucking knows otherwise they wouldn't be wumming on a forum.

Fuck me, what an entertaining thread.....

Love all of the flapping, magnificent people, keep it going.

Here's the thing though: Why has there been no confirmation from Madrid that he's signed for them? Oh yeah......because transfer negotiations are still on-going.

What some of you don't seem to grasp is that this is a business transaction worth somewhere between £40-60 million. If anybody believes that this can be signed sealed and delivered a couple of days, then you clearly haven't been involved with any business transactions of this magnitude when there are no immediate time constraints.

There are three parties involved (four if you include Madrid), ourselves, Malaga & Isco. So what's the hold up.......?

Madrid 'apparently' have agreed terms with both parties, at least according to the Real Madrid controlled press. No reason to doubt that.

However, they haven't signed him yet for the simple reason that either or both Malaga & or Isco are still negotiating either the transfer fee or wages.
All parties will be haggling to fuck, trying to either save some money or make more money, so at some point, we will meet somewhere in the middle, or one of the three parties involved will walk away from the table.

I'm not saying we'll sign him, but we are still in the running for him. I believe that the silence from us about this to the press is deafening.....one way or another, I'd guess that a decision will be made once this thread reaches 1 million pages & not before, so keep up the good work lads & lasses.

If I've offended anybody with what I've written, I apologise in advance as I understand that we all need meds at this time of the season.

Serious question how old are you two

Beat me to it.

I suspect they'll be being tucked in shortly :)

Did they say anything contrary to fact.

Sold Mario, although he wanted to go, got a decent price.

While Mancini probably needed to be replaced, bearing in mind they seem to pride themselves on secrecy, his sacking was leaked pretty badly.

Fernandinho may be what we need, he also seems pretty expensive.

Navas, no complaints.

So overall a decent start. It is what happens between now and August that will show us what they are made of.

Some good comments.

For those who asked. Im a 37 yo finance manager.

Guys, I dont think we should be looking for a plan B for Isco, its a forward we need as Tevez has just signed with Juventus if you believe reports...so many reporting this news I couldnt copy them all.......

Rafael Hernández ‏@RafaelH117 9m Sky Italia reports Juventus reached an agreement with MCFC to sign Tévez: 9m euros + 3m in variables.
