The thing is though Kaka is rumoured to be in his last season at Madrid and to be honest it's hard to not see him be sold this Summer, and Modric could be heading to Chelsea with Mourinho.

He was one of their best players in 2nd part of the season. I don't see them selling him, he struggled in first few months but later shown that he has a place in that team.

A random thought but he did sign Beckham twice when at the veteran stage.
