There is ability, balance, adaptability, mobility, steel and desire in that team - I love it.

And will never happen

I'm one of the 'yaya' bunch - he'll be the best midfielder bar none in the prem next year, Fernandinho will be a surprise to many but will allow yaya to become a bigger threat than he's ever been with barry et al next to him!

we'll set up

...................yaya................fernandinho.................

..............................isco.........................................

........navas....................................silva...................

............................aguero/cavani............................

That is exactly how I hope we set up, though I would rather we spent the £55m on Cavani on younger up and coming players. I think a 1st team of the above without Cavani is strong enough to win the league and if we can keep hold of Dzeko, I'd like to see Guidetti promoted and for us to buy a very good 20 year old striker as another back up.

I just don't see the need to sign Cavani if we use that formation and keep Aguero. It's unnecessary.

Haha, thats what i always think. If i see the Isco topic at the top i always get excited someone has put new info on but its just people talking shit (also like me now)

Maybe anyone who puts new info from - Papers, twitter, radio or itk knowledge we should put it in blue so we can see it quicker - like this :-)

Switch Silva for Navas and that's how I see it, unless he plays 4-2-2-2. If that's the case I see Navas being dropped.

I agree with this. For me he's more of a plan B when teams park the bus and we need a wide threat.

A front 4 of Isco, Silva, Nasri and Aguero with Yaya/Fernandinho behind sounds great to me.

With the 3 attacking mids interchanging. Obviously if Navas is introduced it would become a bit more rigid with him sticking to the right side.

But no midfield. You are living in FM world if you think we'd win games setting up like that. Even the shitter teams would dick us with that midfield. Stick Yaya in the middle with Fernandinho and remove a striker and there you have a real team that has everything.

Why?

Every player on that pitch has bottle and heart,no one would shirk responsibility and all would work there nads off.

Don't Barca plaly very similar with Busquets?

Youre too used to Mancinis negative/sideways tactics.

Even at Barca they have Xavi sitting deeper dictating play. Infact my suggestion of Yaya in place of a striker would be the closest to Barca's current setup with yaya in the Xavi role.

Having somebody in the team who on paper is more defensive minded doesn't always equate to negative tactics. Bringing De Jong on most games in our title winning season should of told you that. Having those 2 in midfield would make us more solid, would allow us to maintain possession better and dictate the game whilst also allowing the attacking trio of navas/isco/silva or whoever to stay further up the pitch in more dangerous areas.

I think he'd be a part of our best XI, especially in Europe.

rubbish that he will only be part of plan B next season, navas will allow us to counter attack with speed and provide the assists that we lacked last season.

Get Isco next - been performing out of his skin recently for Spain. And then add Cavani to the mix

No wonder baconface wanted to retire LOL

If we have both Aguero and Cavani in our squad no chance they will be alternating, they will both start 90% of the games they are fit for

been fairly sanguine about our targets for some reason, the 2 already on board addressed our main weakesses, but i just heard a guy (paddy someone) who is a spain based journo , describe Isco as an "absolute genius" never heard him call anyone that before, so now i've joined the rest of the nervous nigels clicking on the thread every five minutes. Bastard
