Isco

SportsMail sources have been right on City transfers a few times over the last few years from what I can remember. Can't quite remember which player(s). But I do remember people rubbishing them only for them to turn out to be absolutely correct. Don't know about this particular writer. In the past the author was displayed as "Sportsmail reporter" so who knows. Still think it's looking good. We need Pelligrini in I think before this one gets announced. We don't have to necessarily wait for the U21s to finish. We signed David Silva mid World Cup.

all in place im sure, but do we really need another creative midfielder?

unless a few are gonna be shown the door

i like the look of him,hes the right age, reminds me of a young joe cole...ticks most of the boxes, but will city spunk another 20 million on a position that isn't really priority?

That's my view as well.

He has great potential, but you can only play 11 players and for the moment our problems are not in midfield. There's a big difference between his performances for the U21s and Malaga which is logical. You'd expect that he'd improve, but the point is if we signed him now, we wouldn't see any immediate benefit as it would mean the loss of Nasri or Milner, and it wouldn't address our goal-scoring problems

There is only Yaya and Milner who have looked any sort of goal threat from midfield. Barry, Silva and Nasri were all disappointing in this respect.
Isco has a good eye for goal. The more danger we pose from multiple positions the harder it will be to defend against. His speed and creativity should bring the best out of our other players.

But still he'd be taking a place from Nasri or Milner, and for the moment it wouldn't advance us much further. Signing a striker could because we are deficient there

Isco is a very exciting young player. My only argument is that our midfield is already very strong and we wont have a problem creating chances next season. We need to finish the chances

If we can sign Isco and a striker then that's a fantastic position to be in. If it's one against the other then we'd gain far more from buying a striker.

Isco pisses on Nasri from a great height already, and he is only 21. He can go past players, play both sort and long killer passers and has an eye for goal. I would gladly replace him for Nasri
