I highly doubt we have got him. Last 12 hours it's just been 'Isco to Real'. Just to have admit that we fucked up, yet again.

I didn't realise we are now the preferred destination for all the world great young players!
If the lad chooses to go to RM, one of the biggest, if not THE biggest club in the world, in an amazing City and in his home Country, why will we have f***ed up? We don't really and truly know if he was ever interested in coming to City. If we do get him we will have done an amazing job, as we did with David Silva. Get real FFS!

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

I´ve read you to know the point of view of Man City fans about the deal with Isco (i´m Spanish) because i don´t trust in the sources of spanish sport papers. But this time, it´s not only As, Marca, Sport and another shit like that whom gave the new. It´s the public tv, the catalonian tv, the Malaga papers that always bet for the city, say now that is almost done <a class="postlink" href="http://malagacf.diariosur.es/noticias/2013-06-22/principio-acuerdo-madrid-para-201306220203.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://malagacf.diariosur.es/noticias/2 ... 20203.html</a> beside all this things, there was a meeting among Isco´s father, Isco´s lawyer, and executives of the Malaga a month ago where they were catched by photographers in the Bernabeu. Morata Real Madrid striker was the room mate of Isco during the Euro sub 21, and Isco was very close to him and they said that they are good friends and that he made pressure on his decission <a class="postlink" href="http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2013/06/20/seleccion/1371731302_341789.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2013/06/20/ ... 41789.html</a>, Monreal said that he is signed by Real, and the Barcelona fans starts to make jokes and throw crap over him on twitter and forums. Even Rudy Fernandez, the start of the basket section of Real Madrid tweeted this @rudy5fernandez “@marca: El fichaje de Isco, cerrado <a class="postlink" href="http://ow.ly/mhUAe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://ow.ly/mhUAe</a> ” Vamos!! Me compro la camiseta ya!! And you don´t count with some things, like that Silva were to Man City because Mou refused him or that Kaka and Di Maria will leave or at least lose many minutes the next season and Isco knows that he will play. By the way, Cavani is not in the Real Madrid list anymore, too expensive for his level. Iñm sorry guys, but you have enough spanish talent with Silva, J.Garcia, Denis Suarez and Navas. Pellegrini will play with a 4-4-2 Fernandinho-Yaya-Silva-Nasri/Navas and Aguero and the 9 you will choose, he usually use that tactic with two defensive midfielders Senna-Bruno Villarreal or Gago-X.Alonso Real Madrid (with Guti sometimes) and Toulalan-Iturra/Camacho Malaga. So, with Milner, Navas, Silva, Nasri you have a fantastic attack already. 99% Isco done deal with Real, sorry guys and keep enjoying Silva.

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Excluding Barcelona players, Isco was the player to complete 2nd most successful passes in opposite half in the Liga last season [via opta]

Didn't real Madrid hijack Silva too at the last stage? Oh wait...

Good point mate, until he is pictured holding a shirt or confirms himself we have no idea where he could end up.

I am trying to stay optimistic :)

" Manchester City hope to complete a £21m deal for Malaga midfielder Isco in the next 48 hours. There were fears Real Madrid could hijack City's move for the 21-year-old, who indicated on Thursday that a deal with the Blues could be tied up over the weekend" - daily fail

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

One way or other we will know by Monday I imagine. Every time I close this page I say, well no more checking till Monday evening and try stay away from all football sites yet I am always back half an hour later! This is as bad as when I was on holiday during the Sanchez saga and had to run down to the local store every morning to see if there was any confirmations in the local paper..

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Easy logic, if Real really got Isco as their puppets said, all the breaking news and flashy banners must be plastered on all over their official site already, but there's nothing pointing to that direction atm. Chilled!

Suarez said categorically he wants out of the country due to the press / media. At City he'd get it 20 times as bad.

Non-story.

I assume you'll be putting big ££££££££££££££ on that?

You seem to be the angry child around here. Having a pop at this lad and others. Take some of your own advice and stfu.
?????...Do I need to?? Just my opinion!
Would it make me look like a big man??
Do I need to be minted to offer an opinion??

You seem like a very angry man/ child.

P.S. Big £££££ would be different dependant on the person sticking the money down. Big money for me would be very low/ high compared to others.

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Reading between the lines we need to offer Malaga slightly more £ than Madrid have and Manuel needs to persuade the lad he's going to play.

Maybe right, this was before he got a bit peckish and could not wait for the after match meal.
