We didn't pay £30m for Fernandinho. It was no more than £25m plus add-ons. But you can't compare as he's a versatile, experienced, international with CL experience whereas Isco, despite looking an excellent prospect, is younger and less experienced.

Yep- but Fernandinho isn't the marquee signing that people will take notice of. He may be a better fit for the team, but especially after the U21s Isco is almost the 'hottest property' on the market right now. Txiki and Ferran, I think, will want to make a key signing this summer and make him a key part of the team- I see Isco as that signing, and would be surprised if we were haggling over a price in the low £20s (m).

Nope not me and not who I got the info from pal.

As I said earlier in the thread, I very very rarely get to hear anything. The last info I got was Tevez a month before he signed. I put it on here to much ridicule at the time

Can't help thinking this is becoming a self imposed, internally created frenzy, to which there is no real news or evidence available. Twitter is about as reliable as The Sun for actual stories!
