Isco

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

I suggest that we all wait until Monday/ Tuesday when a deal is finalized and we know exactly where he is heading before we react and speculate about what actually happened.

But I believe that the pessimism in this thread is unnecessary. We should all remain positive, don't succumb to any little city complex and never give up.

Isco is coming to City!!!

The most disappointing thing is, we have obviously made Isco and Cavani our main targets. Although the 2 guys we have brought in will be a good addition we are still 2 world class players short from challenging for the title and doing well in the champs league. It will be interesting to see if our rivals will now swoop for the next best available, whoever they are

good post

Why ffs, explain

You really need an explanation?

Yes, sorry for being slow but yes i do
yeah i agree with this, we should be spending 34m on players like isco not fernandinho, fernandinho and navas are very good additions to the squad but they wont win us the league or champions league, im not saying fernandinho and navas are not good but if we can spend big on them, then we should on isco, just my opinion

We have and would have done on other players.

Just because Cavani and Isco aren't signed doesn't mean we will now be going for Crouch and Dean fucking Whitehead.

You really believe that that Txiki has just sat there for six months sending emails to Napoli and Malaga and playing a bit of Fifa?

After a season of constant complaints about taking our plan B options last summer it's bizarre to see so many comments about how it's fine to take plan B options this year. Marwood loses a target he's an idiot, Txiki loses a target and it's unthinkable to question him.

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Still 2 months and 1 week of the transfer window left (some of that after the season begins). There are many good players out there in the world, though more and more of the prolific ones like Cavani, Lewandowski, Falcao, Gotze, and Isco (if he joins Real) seem to be out of reach. It may be a case of looking for those not fully on the radar yet like we did with Kompany, Nastasic... the Bundesliga has a lot of good talent.

Fernandiho may very well win us the league he really is a huge upgrade in midfield.

But its not about money, how do you know we have not matched that bid? it will come down to the players choice.

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Graham hunter just been on talksh*t seems to think there is a fair degree of desperation on the part of RM as they've watched Bayern and City buy decent players
He seems to be implying that we are still very much in the hunt!

Nobody is saying plan b is fine but if we have to go for another player we have to accept whoever comes

If we do miss Isco ( I don't believe it's over, we know from the QPR game....93:20 that its not over till its over) the plan b it has to be
