Isco

I am led to believe that there will be a loan deal with Negredo and isco swapping places and the transfer with us possibly paying a little going through next year. Could be guidetti staying as 4th striker and then funds being raised for Barkley

That would be great, both clubs happy seeing as Morata just joined Juventus.

Not really ITK, just comments from Madrid based people that they were looking for a couple of strikers and rumours I heard again (in aus) that it was real not athletico after Negredo. Think this would suit the players and the clubs and would improve both.

Something from the goal.com rumors

"Real Madrid eye Negredo as Morata replacement

Real Madrid are considering a move for Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo. The Spanish giants see the City man as the perfect replacement for Alvaro Morata who is on the brink of joining Juventus.

Don't know how reliable that Fichajes.com is. But fits in with what you've written. Either one of Barkley or Isco this summer though....

Don't fancy losing the beast next season, but a year in Spain may turn his form around, very tempted with Isco, and Barkley next year having first dibs on him,can see Milner being part of that possible deal

We need 17 overseas players we have 18, we can probably take 18 to mid aug as there is a very high likelihood we will have injuries and quite possibly a player out till dec who we can omit.

That said beyond the 18 we will have after mangala it will be one in and one out so they may feel they can leave Negredo as we have very strong attacking mids and can keep guidetti as homegrown with hiwula in reserve

It would also suit our age profile and suit pellegrini

no I agree with you. Isco or Barkley or both would reduce the average age and could be potential world class stars for 10 years.

I do see 1 non HG leaving in any case (Garcia), if Isco comes in pretty sure Negredo will leave too (or Dzeko). And Zuculini can't be accommodated either so he'll be off on loan too (probably)

Zuccilini will quite possibly stay as an u21 prem league player and player for the capital one, don't see an issue with keeping him at all and he isn't going to throw a hissy fit for not being in champs league squad

I think Isco is better than Jovetic. Pellegrini thought so too, as Jovetic was the backup option. I'd still go after him. He is a rare creative talent who could take the pressure off Silva.

I think Jovetic is set for a great season this year and with a full pre-season of training/fitness will be stronger/quicker than the player we saw last year.....I do agree tho..Isco is a great talent and if the interest in him is real then the like for like person on the squad is Jovetic.....so I wouldn't be shocked with a Isco in, Jovetic out if he came......Would make no sense letting Negredo go to bring in Isco as they both play different positions and we'd only be weakening the striker position.

from all the reports I've read....RM would not be interested in a loan deal as want the money to fund J.Rodriguez deal.....Liverpool have 70mil burning a hole in their pockets...City not in a position to get into a bidding war for Isco....I don't see how this is going to happen but would be a nice surprise if it did.... ;)

I just cant see going to any other club in England other than us to be honest. a huge move for him to move country but surely he would be more comfortable with pellegrini, the coaching team, caballero and our Spanish contingent to help him settle in?

I think the ship has sailed.

He should have joined us last Summer. Instead we had everything agreed and he ditched us at the last hurdle.

I don't feel sorry for the young players who go to Madrid, they always get their head turned and end up on the bench 99% of the time.

Silly boy Isco. He could have been great under Pellegrini and our play style.
