Potentially big news from El Mundo... going off second hand reports from Twitter here but: they say Isco is holding out for City to raise their offer, if these are accurate.

It's just two people Tweeting it. One has 6,700+ followers, one has 10,000+ followers. Not sure what El Mundo is... don't think it's Mundo Deportivo.

The thing is, you gotta ask yourself the question: You is a top class footballer, it's between City and Real Madrid, where you gonna go? It's a no brainer for me. Lifelong City fan, but am off to Madrid...

I can see where you are coming from, but he will be going to a club he branded arrogant and public declared himself anti-madridista, he will have severe competition for his place and will most likely start out a bench player, plus if he does not get off to a perfect start, at a club like Madrid their fans will come down on him hard due to their expectations.

City will offer him more game time and more time to grow, definately under Pellegrini anyway.

The only thing Madrid have over us is history and the brand of being a bigger club, but to me that only means something to the fans, not the players.

It does not matter what top player steps into Madrid or City nowadays, they both have equal chances of winning trophies, to a player thats what it is all about isn't it?

Just been looking into that...

Dice #ElMundo (mañana) que Isco esperará 48 horas más para ver si el Manchester City sube su oferta por él.

Says # cnn (morning) that Isco wait 48 hours to see if Manchester City raises its offer for him.

Bluemooners won't believe that one, its too positive, best to concentrate on the negative rumours to lessen any disappointment if things don't go our way.

If you can find a tweet saying Madrid have promised him the number 22 that will go down a storm.

Can we not now just wipe every post today and wait for real news (maybe tomorrow)? Too much nonsense and associated knee jerk reactions around. (I for one think he'll sign for Madrid btw, but I'm one of the pessimistic people around).
