I don't think that's fair to ask but I think he's on to something and I'm sure he wouldn't have posted this without any hope.. We all will have to wait and see FFS

It's a current state of play, nothing more.

The reports over the last 24 hours have categorically stated it's done.

If that were indeed the case, there would be no need for the talks which are now taking place today.

Sadly, I have no influence over what decision the boy will finally arrive at!

Be back on later if there is an update or something comes out beforehand.

So,just to clarify, the talks taking place are between ourselves, isco and malaga?
Think the REAL talks are being held in a tent with a hubble bubble pipe

Not a very nice way to talk about the lad. Could flourish under Pelle too.
On my word I got a run down from a coach at Chelsea who has seen him develop. He said the lads poor and is a Championship player or lower team in the prem. He is ideal for Villa if they sell NZogbia imo, maybe Newcastle as Overtan is plain awful. Good cover for the injury prone Ben Arfa or as Kinnear says Ben Afry.

His career record so far has 'journeyman' written all over it. That may be a bit harsh on him, but shouldn't City with all their ambitions be building a squad with younger and better options?
Getting a bit "off topic" here guys?
Why dont you continue the "Scott Sinclair" discussion on that thread?
This is the Isco thread!

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

In all honesty I don't think it's too difficult to understand what's going on with or without any ITK info. From there side the Spanish papers are putting pressure on probably due to influence from Real to keep the kid in Spain. Whilst for our part rest assured we won't be sat at home waiting for the phone to ring but instead will be working away feverishly to get him here. In the meantime only he knows where he's going to end up and once that decision is made we will be told. All the nonsense inbetween is nothing more than to fill newspapers, radio airspace, football forums, TV reports etc.

Can't understand why people get so anxious along the way.

Re: Isco (Part 7 (Saturday saga part 2))

Whether we get Isco or not its still surprises me that city fans forget who owns us. This isn't Mike Ashley.

When city fans go on about how we cannot compete with the top 3 or 4 clubs in Europe it gets forgotten that, in terms of influence, in many areas including political, it's actually quite difficult to compete with City.

Football is a business and by far the strongest indicator on where a player will go is financial NOT HISTORY. Where is Falcao right now?

The influence Mansour has is consistently underestimated by our own supporters and yet the evidence is all around us.

Isco " Madrid is an arrogant club"

Mundo Deportivo: Isco has rejected Real Madrid's offer and if nothing changes will join City for a fee close to £21million shortly. #MCFC
More quotes like this will do.

It the "and if" bit that is worrying probably arguing over his squad number

Mundo Deportivo is a Barca press. While I am not saying that it's a tabloid concoction, we should be aware that they are highly political, and anti-Real Madrid.

Between us or RM?

Yes so he has rejected Real Madrid? Get in Ryanair flight lands at about 12:10. Who is on airport watch? ;-)

This news came 3 days ago, so it is irrelevant to the current events. I just hope there is good news soon. Tomorrow is the day, i hope so.

I'm sure if Sheikh Mansour has seen Isco play, he will be excited by his creativity and potential at such a young age. I hope he can use his influence?
