Well it's all pointing to the fact we won't match the fee Malaga want, just why??

I can't believe we won't match or better Madrid's offer of around €24m.

I believe we have. Its up to Isco to decide his future.

If we have matched the offer I firmly believe Isco to be a City player.

Isco has publicy declared he wants a club that will give him guaranteed game time, I don't think Real can offer him that, especially if they go off spending money on Bale etc..

Plus, he knows and understands Pellegrini, he knows he can develop him further and will have patience and time for him, with the pressure and expectations at Real Madrid I can't see their new manager giving him much time.

Madrid wan't ready made superstars for success now, they are not intersted in developing players in the meantime and we have seen from Isco's Malaga performances the lad is a developing superstar, he has good games and bad games.

If I was in his shoes Madrid are not the best club at this moment in my career to be joining, maybe later on after I have guaranteed my player development.

That's my theory anyway.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

I truly believe this is one giant media blitz from Perez to protect himself from not signing Isco....

1. Say the club has agreed to a fee.
2. State that its in the players hands. (Fans get excited)
3. Release the Anti-Madrista quotes.
4. Release the Anti Barca quotes.
5. Hope Madristas turn on Isco.
6. Isco opts for City.
7. Madrid look they are in the market for Spanish talent (Perez has been criticized over this for years)

there are 3 people on here who i now reckon will believe anything whats said by the media or on twitter.

that quote from isco is not a recent one.
I'll refuse to believe he's signing for them until I see pictures of him at his medical or it announced on their site. I'll go down with the ship, willing to trust ppl on here more than the over anxious Madrid media who serve to please Perez

I will ban myself if we don't sign him, I have that much confidence this will happen, we just need to wait and be patient, its the way our board operates these days.

Do you base these thoughts on any additional knowledge you may have that others don't? Or opinion?

Well weighing it all up we are clinging to the fact that a couple of respected City fans have heard he's coming to us.

That's all we've got really isn't it?

Don't want to be negative but I've seen these threads a few times now these last few years and while they're hilarious i get the feeling we all know how this will end.. :(

And what have real Madrid got, bar their club sponsored media drumming up loads of shit, Isco always said he'd decide after his holiday, this will go on a little longer until he co,is back refreshed and signs for us.

Nothing official I admit but there's far more journalists/headlines and indirect quotes that point to him going to go to RM. Like it or not but when it gets to this point hoe often do you see the situation flipping 180?

I have no idea what this says, but it may contain some ITK info.

It's just a funny video. Mr Al Thani (Hitler) is angry at being undersold Isco to fucking Real Madrid. Also talks about all the problems that Uefa and Spanish politicians have injured Malaga and Mr Al Thani. But he Still not going to leave Málaga.

Do not bring anything new, but it's funny.

I and all Málaga fans hope that Isco doesn't sign for R. Mandril.

Greetings from Málaga.

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

there's no doubt the media machine is cranking up in their favour - Isco quoting tweets are rattling through at a monstrous rate, mostly spanish (and indonesian strangely) interspersed by a few sad City fans, but the news articles do all seem to lead back to MARCA...

Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))

If I were the player, allowed to make my own decision, premature announcements of my signing would do nothing but deter me from that club.

None if us knows what's happening but it seems strange to me that all of the publicity from the Spanish press suggests he has signed for Madrid. If that's the case, why isn't it on the official Real website? It's not on there for one reason only, the deal is not done.

I thought we would get this one done, but to be honest now it looks highly unlikely, lets be realistic its Reals official charity has followed him on twitter does anybody think whoever runs it will follow someone that is about to snub them?! Cant see it happening think they were told it was done. And then the quotes in the paper?! I really hope im wrong but it doesn't look good. The lure of Real is huge he wont have to move country, will be closer to his friends and family and wont have to adjust to a new league. We can offer him Pellegrini and probably more playing time. Really hope im wrong but cant blame the lad if he chooses to stay in spain.

A mixture, whispers from someone I know to be trustworthy, watching development and trying to sift for facts and my own opinion. Real Madrid have not signed him, nor are they close, nobody is currently as he's on his break. But I lean to the side that he prefers the city package than real, this is based on informed opinion and not merely getting excited over every story or doomed.

The last week, he was nailed on to us! This is a huge power play, smoke and daggers when reality is no one is closer than a fortnight ago

Just because they work for the charity of the club doesn't mean they necessarily know anything, it would kind of be like Sharon the camera woman following him on twitter, doubt she talks to txiki much to be honest
