According to reports, Real Madrid have offered €25million + midfielder Kaka to Milan for star forward Stephan El Shaarawy.

So Madrid like our targets :)
Maybe they hacked into our computers too .....

I could be mistaken but dosn't El Shaarawy play in a similar position to where Isco would play, on the left of a front 3 can't see how they would want both.

100% agree so either it's bs or Madrid have moved to a different target

this is what that cop guy from malagaforum is saying!!!!!

I still maintain that the City and Malaga have it done and Isco the decider. The decide whether her father will prefer to play football or chuck.
I betting he leaves the City .. I will die defending my information.

Is that 'Bibbio_Blueio' at it again?

I only hope Fernandinho turns out to be a good buy... To pay 30million for a 28 year old from the Russian league and not be willing to stump up for a 21 year old who has already made a big impression in the Champions League and for Spain doesn't seem like forward thinking... last year it was RVP and Hazard -this year in all probability -Cavani and Isco...... I just don't want us to stagnate and end up feeling disappointed for not winning anything and just as importantly not playing to our potential.....

I agree. Were not buying the top shelf players anymore. Were aiming for them, missing and buying the next level down - and sometimes the level below that.
Then we are wondering why we havent won anything.

Unless we make a couple of big signings I can see another year of no trophies and then some of the top shelf players we do have will start to become restless.

No idea why we penny pinch on the better players and lay out vast sums of money for a 28 yo player from the russian league. Insane!

4 Years and 10 FUCKING months!!!!!

That is how long we have been able to compete for high calibre players.

Stop acting spoilt.

Bordering on pathetic!

It doesnt matter how long we have been at it - in the last 12 months the squad has gone backwards! Fact.
And if we continue to sign aging players for silly money it will continue to do so.

Now you can keep shouting if you want but if Javi Garcia is your bag then good for you.

We have gone from signing Yaya, Silva and Aguero to Garcia and Sinclair!

Something that is weird about the Isco saga is how few clubs were in for him. Imagine Messi at age 21 being on the market for €30m... every club in every country would be stuffing their money down his g-string.

But with Isco, one was Manchester City (at the request of Isco's football daddy), and the other was Real Madrid (almost forced into it by Zinedine Ze Ram).

I know he's brilliant against 18 La Liga clubs and U21 players, but he went missing against Dortmund and very barely features (if at all) for his national team.

Reportedly, he rejected offers from Monaco and Borussia Dortmund too, but they were never really considered.

Head for cover, people will be after you. You're not allowed to say anything negative on here (not that I agree with you).

If this bid is true, this COULD (attention flappers) be a good thing, indicating that nothing has been sorted and are losing a little faith in the deal. All conjecture. I have been very confident about this deal until it became clear that we dont seem to want to pay Malagas valuation.

It's about the team, how many of the two champions league finalists were top names when they were bought, possibly 3 of the Bayern team but that would be all, It,s up to us to make the players we have into a top team. I Think Pelligrini will do that.

Maybe, just maybe, Txiki and Peliegrini don't value Isco at 25M and just thought he was not worth the extra cash.

If Tevez is sold, and the non arrivals of Isco and Cavani...we must have one big F off transfer budget, and we all know Txiki and Solano like a good world superstar to be their poster boy......
Talkshite are having an interview with someone from Spain who claims Cruyf has said its about time Barca sold MESSI.
Should be good on in a minute

Yeah but the marquee names are not always the best. Fernandinho is an excellent player. Juventus signed Vidal from Leverkusen for under £10million and he is now arguably the best box-to-box midfielder in Europe. And yet had we signed Vidal, you could have thrown the same criticism at us going for the lower profile players. Kompany, Nastasic, Zabaleta were also low key signings. If you use your scouting network well you don't need to buy the £40million players, although a marquee signing every now and then is nice.

So... Are the flappers queuing up for this yet?

If we don't get isco it isn't the end of the world, we still have Nasri and silva both experienced PL and CL players and I'm sure Pellegrini will get the best out of them. Especially Nasri.

How do you know we wouldn't pay what was asked? From what I have made out he has picked Madrid over us because he wants to play there and not here. Not because we wouldn't match Madrids offer.
And presumably you also believe that RvP always wanted to play for the rags (despite having agreed to come to us 6 months before), Robinho had a poster of Ray Ranson on his wall and that Luis Suarez first words involved singing "You'll Never Walk Alone"?

I completely agree. My point is we paid marquee money for an aging non marquee player!
If we had paid £15m I wouldnt be half as arsed but we still need those big name signings and to piss about with Isco for the sake of a couple of million is shocking - if that is what has happened.
