So basically it's anyone's guess as to where he will end up. Nobody knows except Isco, his family and probably his agent. Anything else is pure speculation.

Exactly.

This has been a very 'personable' type of transfer for Isco and certain loyalties and courtesy has been extended.

Pellegrini spoke to Isco yesterday, I do expect him to know by now.

Have you heard any whispers about us giving him a medical this weekend?

Just more people chancing their arms due to this quote from Isco that his future could be decided by Sunday.

Seriously, this transfer should open a lot of eyes to certain people in the media.

It's been a 50/50 all down the line but a few, including Graham Hunter, have attempted to call heads or tails with a supposed degree of authority, because the timeline is so small.

The only legitimacy he has is that he now lives in Spain, can speak the language, a bit like Ballbag.

Same with these cunts in Italy, nobody gives stories away for free on Twitter - everything has a monetary value in the media.

Especially, exclusive and accurate information!

We're being overrun by hand wringing pussies. Time for some of you to take those nappies off and put the big boy pants on.

It still says at the very end that city are still favourites, just journalistic license to print bilge!!!!!!!!!

we are still odds on

Exactly, headlines can be deceiving as we all know.

I take no notice of odds though, unless they suspend bets that's is.

No He has got it wrong. The article says:

"The fact that Manuel Pellegrini managed Isco at Málaga could swing the deal in City's favour. However, Isco appears to be more interested in signing for Madrid."

for some reason, this transfer seems, to me, to be of utmost importance, almost a watershed moment. i feel this more than any other transfer we have done.

the guy is quality, there is o doubt, but its also a message being sent out to the other big established clubs. "we are here and we will compete and beat you to the signing of the best new players, even your own young players, and we are a viable alternative to you"

we need to get isco.

Hardly convincing optimism about him signing for Madrid from a Madrid loving source though is it ? 'Appears to be '.

Can't believe I just read about 50 pages of flapping, knew I should have just skipped to the latest page.

Still think he's ours.

I recall that when the etoo transfer went tits up a few years ago, we acted pretty swiftly in securing Adebayor as an alternative.

Do you see that happening in this instance, or is Isco a special case due to being a special talent?

We are pretty stacked in midfield as it is.

This isn't IMO the most important transfer, the lad is 21 and great potential but that doesn't make him a world beater just yet, IMO that will happen over the next few years subject to his willingness to learn and adapt. It is that later part which makes me confident he will follow Pellegrini. If he goes to Madrid, he goes to Madrid some people need to get a grip. The two most important signings we have already made that being Fernandhino and Navas especially Navas and his pace. Isco would just be the cherry on top of the cake :-)
