3 years down the line after rejecting us and i personally would still take him..Yes,perphaps paying the price for wanting too much so soon at Real and has become a bit part player there..He would add the much needed class & flair in our MF,what Merlin used to do,and arguably only him/Koke/Thiago would add sth different,with the latter two being long shots.At 24,whether he'd want to leave the comfort of Madrid is a different story though.

I wish that was true because it would show huge faith in the youth coming through...but I'm not convinced the club feel we are ready yet. I'd love if we promoted from within though.

(And I'd promise to give them 10 games of grace before I label as utter crap, frauds and not what this club needs)

His contract runs out at the end of next season, I highly doubt he'll cost more than 30 mil
