Ismaël Bennacer

Very good player , can replace Fernandinho , psg and man United also want get it too

He’s good but Milan won’t let him go unless they don’t make it to the CL he has 50 mil close

Was going to create a new thread from scratch for this but it'd be a travesty not to continue this thread (-:

Ismaël Bennacer linked again nearly 8 years after this crazy thread began, he's skillful hardworking full of energy and has bite in the tackle to go with being technically good, skillful enough to evade challenges and progressively pass the ball to a teammate in space, he could fit in very well with our style and Pep's relentless demands.

Our main other competition would probably be Arsenal but would he rejoin them though, he already joined them over us probably because they're closer to home in France but we have Mahrez now to put in a good word for his Algeria teammate. When at Arsenal they foolishly just like with Gnabry deemed him not good enough, he'd easily walk into their current lineup as one of the first names on the team sheet. Bennacer currently has a 47k a week wage and also has a £44m (pounds) release clause which activates in July for half a month.

Very important to A.C. Milan's title win and after being rejected by Arsenal he had to work his way up from Serie B at Empoli, where he impressed with promotion and in a relegated side while in Serie A stood out so has the hunger to prove himself, he then joined Milan and has carried on his consistently impressive performances throughout his stay.

In Serie A he's consistently a top performer for Milan as shown by his 1.6 key passes (vs Rice 1.1 for instance) and 2.1 (vs Rice 2.3) tackles per game, he plays in a generally deeper role but can be a creative presence there and is left footed too, he is technically gifted so could be quite versatile centrally in midfield or even different roles asked by Pep.

There is meant to be a 15 day window in July when this £44m release clause is active, by that time we will know whether Gundogan is staying and also if Bernardo is or if he's on his way.

Cheaper option than others with good all round play and possibly adds good versatility to our midfield, thoughts?

Ticks a lot of boxes, could probably learn to play in a more advanced role as well as DM, CM, double pivot.

Now you've bumped it I'll have to look at this thread through a different Lens.

Gundo replacement. He‘s probably on the market with most of Milan’s stars.
