Israel-Palestine Conflict

Interestingly the ultra Orthodox Jews who are opposed to the Zionist project and believe in Palestine where Arabs and Jews live as one - are the ones aggravating the settlers situation in the West Bank, perhaps trying to force Hezbollah in to confrontation with the Israeli state to seek their own solutions.

It’s puts the prospects of peace further away when the motives of various factions, within and on either side, are so diametrically opposed to each other.
Who are the Orthodox Jews aggravating the settlers situation, and how?

So two days ago we were told Hamas were preventing foreigners leaving.

Now they're leaving.

Does that mean

1. Someone was lying?

2. Hamas have simply changed their mind?

3. Someone has been negotiating with Hamas?

All 3 probably.

So unless you think "Israel" extends from the Nile in Egypt to the Euphrates in Iraq, you're an enemy of Israel? That means nearly all the world is an enemy of Israel, including most Jews.

And people think Hamas are unreasonable.

Neither is Hamas.

What next?

Honestly? Change in Israel.

The Downing Street declaration kicked off the NI peace process. It was the UK Government ignoring all of the murders carried out by the IRA, all of the violence, and saying the people of NI could decide their own fate, Britain woulnd't get in the way, and peace had to be acheived through ending violence.

You can ask why the emphasis is on Israel and to that I would say -

One side overwhelmingly suffers from the conflict's status quo.
One side is orders of magnitude better armed and funded.
One side is literally occupying the other and hence in control.
One side has a stable base from which to build a peace process.

With all due respect that is nonsense, do you know how many sects, and streams there are in Judaism ? There are loads the sect you are talking about are part of Hasidic Judaism sometimes mistakenly call ultra orthodox, within Hasidic Judaism there are many different sects, then we the differences between Ashkenazi and Sephardic and to further confuse what is called Oriental, I can assure you that those committing the violence on the West Bank are not Hasidic Jews, more than likely they will be religious zionists separated into different sects
