Blows my mind still that a stadium with only one public transport link on one side of the stadium that far away from the centre can be given cat A stadium listing tbqh. All those rules and clauses about TV cameras, hosting abilities, media credentials and not a single one about transport links. Shows where the priorities are I suppose. Even the corrupt IOC put in stuff about infrastructure.

This is interesting as at the end it shows Inter fans getting the shuttle buses from Besiktas to the stadium. Chalk & cheese comes to mind!!!

Maybe 150 in use for the whole weekend, but there was never in a thousand years 150 buses parked up for City fans post-match. And like you say, even if they were some people would have been stood for 3+ hours.

Should have opened the fan park after, but sounds like that wasn't much better organized.

There were a lot of buses, but they were all full. I wandered around for ages banging on the doors, but the drivers wouldn’t let me on. I was beginning to think I was going to be left behind. Managed to get one of the last ones to Yanakapi. The lack of organisation in the car park was a joke, they should have had separate areas for the airport buses, and another area for Yanakapi.

I asked a UEFA woman if I could get on her bus back to Taksim as there was plenty of room, you can imagine her response.
