Thanks for your efforts Alex, you're doing a great job.
It's now over 10 weeks since the CL final and the club's silence is a disgrace. I'm not suggesting they go crying to the media as the dippers did 12 months earlier, but some acknowledgement of the problems faced by fans would at least indicate a degree of concern.

Shuttle buses are a disaster. God knows if we’ll make our flight.

I was on the day trip - 3.30am flight home from Istanbul Airport. Got back to the airport at 4.40am - thankfully, flight held back.

It would have flown empty had they gone at the scheduled time. Check-in desks were supposed to have been shut at 1.30am! Even without the chaos that was ambitious.

Yesterday, I spoke with a lad who went who broke down in tears because he had his phone nicked in Istanbul. Never met him before. He mentioned photos of family members on it. Dust hasn't settled for a few. Hope he's okay. That was a random and unexpected moment. Peace to him. Talking helps.

I did allude to that point in my correspondence. That said, I do know how many messages they get per day and so I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t a priority - especially now the dust seems to have settled.

I am hopeful that Lucy Powell will pick it up - after all, she is the Shadow Minister for Digital, Culture, Media and (importantly) Sport.

Do any of our City Matters reps have any update on City's response? Or do we assume it's now been swept under the carpet?

I’m still in the car park waiting to get on a bus, hopefully should be back for the trophy parade.

Still rankles me this. My two lads spent an hour lifting and helping 2 wheelchair bound fans from the car park to the main road, We got to the airport after two taxi journeys and £80 that should have been free transport.
