Istanbul CL Final chaos | City Matters statement (p 133)

For contrast, I was paying 8 lira for a 1.5L bottle from local shops in istanbul which was about 20-30 pence. That same quantity from uefas official refreshment stands would have cost me around £80 (that's not a mistype)
Utter disgrace , containing fans without easy access & fair prices for food and drink

Lets say we should have been taking in at least 200ml of water per hour in that heat, from containers that allowed little sips to be taken often, to maintain a minimum level of hydration. If you were in the fan park from 2pm and then attended the match til about 12:30, the cost to do that would have been €52.50.
Anyone who went on a UEFA mobile sauna arrived dehydrated and willing to pay any amount for water.
Having to queue for extended periods made you even more dehydrated and care less about what you paid.

Basic medical evidence would be known by UEFA and they deliberately engineered a dangerous and expensive environment in order to maximise profit.

I went to buy some water at the end of the match after most had left and it was on thr verge if closing, all they had left were those tiny 100ml yogurt pots of warm water in boxes. Asked for 4, guy serving quoted me 10 euros, said I'm paying in lira, he then tries charging me 500lira which was close to £20, threw 2 of them back at them in disgust but dehydration forced me to take 2. next guy who was taking the cash charged me 130 lira for the 2. Proof beyond any doubt they were just making the prices up and pocketing a lot of money. How such blatant extortion could be on display at a uefa event is baffling to me. Guarantee we'll never see that addressed by uefa.

Those small pots of water were supposed to be free, they wanted €5 a pot. I told them where to go. It was supposed to be €2.50 for a bottle of water, which they ran out of very quickly.

I'm sure the majority of Turkish people are fair and law abiding, but the price gouging seen that day was beyond reproach. 5 euro for a drop of water. Thieving bastards.

Any opportunity and taxi drivers, bar owners, stadium staff were on the take.

UEFA should be refunding us all for that shit show for fans. The transport, the choice of venue, the fan park, the stadium facilities and the pitch black rocky coach park that dissolved into chaos.

It's a miracle no one died.

Our country gets some stick but the final at Wembley will be a doddle for those attending. London is one of the great cities of the world has a superb transport system and all sorts of accomodation. No shortage of food and drink options and the prices will be fair apart from inside the stadium.

UEFA are and have always been an utter disgrace with regards to helping the fans and treating them fairly.

It would not surprise me to see City fined for allowing their fans to travel on the Metro system.
On that hellhole of a motorway to stadium, we were amazed to see coaches of inter fans stuck in queue also.
They did get out with about 2 kilometres to stadium and walked

I went to buy some water after the game but the bar behind the stand was such a shambles with none of the staff seeming to know what they were doing I just assumed the water was free, took two cups and walked off without paying.

Is this true about the pots of water supposed to be free?
If so I have a credit card receipt for 20Euro for the 8 pots I bought.
Who at EUFA do I send my refund request to?
