Istanbul | It’s been a blast - Thank You!

I liked parts of it. Stayed in Sultanahmet in a great hotel. Felt safe around there and Sultanahmet square and the sights around there were lovely. I felt I got a real taste of It in the 2 days I was there. Having been to Cairo I thought it be similar to tha, but it wasn’t. It was much better.

Obviously hated the traffic, the organisation of Uefa and those who were just clearly on the make but met some kind lovely people and glad I have been to see it. It was never on my bucket list but glad I went and the memories it brought.

Met some great blues too!

Mixed feelings about Istanbul. The local people were really nice. I didn't like that taxi drivers and some people in restaurants seem like they want to grift you given half the chance.

The ground wasn't fit for purpose.

Probably had the most over zealous security checks at the airport ever.

Probably not in any rush to go back to be honest but overall an amazing trip.

Really was great to see blues looking our for each other - one lad was struggling with walking sticks in the shambles of a coach park after the game and loads of blues helping him and making sure people behind didn't push or rush. Lots of blues trying to help each other with tickets and directions - it really was like a huge blue family. Made me very proud to be blue.

Plenty of positives. But lots of negatives. Can't lie.

Different culture.

West meets Asia.

Wealth meets poverty.

Friends meets theives.

The result and unbelievable emotion was worth it.
How are the first 2 negatives ? Didn't go but would think they are positives.

Just got back after an amazing 3 nights. Thought the atmosphere was fantastic, was nervous about mixing Turkish, Italian and English fans but went without any major fuss. We different areas enjoyed each night in and apart from the shuttle bus after the game, from Yenikapi to Taksim, from the Fan Zone to Navizade, what a trip and to come home European Champions and Treble Winners!

What a time to be a blue, 6 or so weeks to rest the liver and the ticker and we go again next season!!

Flight cancelled last night. Rearranged for 4am tomorrow. 9 of us put up in a hotel by easy jet all expenses covered. Hit the strip last night and just out again on the piss

Gonna buy some £4 swimming shorts and watch the parade on the internet sat by the pool later

It’s a fucking hard life being the champions of Europe
That's a right result. It's roasting in town now 30 and rain forecast for the parade. Pair of speedos and dancing in the rain might be the the way to go .

Well, after 4 nights and being a little apprehensive about coming here with my son, and daughter for two nights too
And some very good friends
It’s been an experience

The locals I met were great
Lots of new songs that they will know for years to come !!!
Johnny!! Ye if your here you’ll know
Every Turk knows John Stones by now !!

Met new people shared a few stories
And we brought home the European cup

Thank You
These memories will stay forever

We go again

Thanks Pep
And Rodri !!

It’s been emotional
Totally agree. Me and my young lad (aged 9) have had the time of our lives. I am depressed to be back at home and working again now but what a memory. Also, the Inter fans were great as well. Not an ounce of trouble from them from my perspective. Brilliant trip bar UEFA and the buses farce.
