Looks scary to me, if we get that world class DM (or even better, it turns out to be Perrone) and a new GK (Costo or Trafford ?), we should be OK for the Vanarama...

Carson may well call it a day, Nunes looks useful at RB but expecting pelters for placing him there. Dont know if Bernie is really staying, hoping he does, same with Jack. I think Pep just dosnt want conventional full backs who can only play that one position, so its rammed with CBs.

Going to take a guess that this January is a rebuild of the defence and the summer will be the rebuild of the midfield.

We've got a fair few lads who will no longer count for the B List coming into play that they will need to use the HG/Club slots for as well. (Foden, McAtee, Bobb, Mubama, Doyle, Lewis, Wright, O'Reilly, JSP) will all need to decided on for that space.

Can see a slot or two just being left empty for in preparation.

Possibly. I think the consequences of the injuries and the subsequent horror run of results hastened things up, which is more or less what Pep said. Great getting them in now to adapt ready for next season is a wise move.

Love John as a player but we cant rely on someone who now trots out for 45 mins every 6 weeks or so. Hes been a wonderful servant and arguably played his best ever game in the European Cup Final, but he only played 16 times in the league last season and has been largely absent for 3 months again now. Id wager Pep has called time on it and we will ship him out in the summer while he still has some sale value.

The desperate need for a hold midfielder or even some athleticism in midfield - the most glaring need of all - is sadly still yet to be addressed.

Nobody is paying money to sign stones because they'd have the same issue we have with him. Plus he is on a big wage so he would have take a big cut.

Many of our older stars have more than repaid our initial transfer outlay, so I think a few could be moved on, on free transfers or for a nominal fee.

The problem is their huge wages. City either pay up their contracts, the buying club keeps the wages the same, or the player lowers their wage demand.

Unfortunately for Stones, if I were a buying club, I'd only agree to a pay as you play or a massively reduced basic, with a huge match bonus if he's actually fit enough to turn out.

Dribble, the problem is you’re a businessman—and a brutal one at that. ;)

Hit me up; I wouldn’t mind being your sidekick if you ever decide to get into Private Equity, Hostile Takeovers/Corporate Raiding. You’d fit right in. Lol.
