Against proper oppositionEngland have played a lot of good stuff, well done to kane.
But at the risk of being churlish, linekar and ticket tout scored big important goals at the business end of tournaments, hope we'll be talking of kane in the same fashion.

I think he just mistimed his swing and meant to hit it with his instep.

Just watched the penalty incident again, Di Lorenzo has his eyes on the ball, I agree his left arm was outstretched but he was leaning that way and it’s a natural position. I’ve seen worse given but I hate that, it wasn’t clear gamesmanship, before VAR that’s never given and not much would have been said.

Problem is England's national side does suck you in.
We all want them to do well deep down. They remind me of us years ago when we were shit. We slagged them off lots of times but never stopped loving them no matter how many times they let us down.
