It's anti City Day!

If the story in the mirror about sergio and ben is not true i expect the city lawyers to help him out and unleash all kinds of hell upon them

Di canio getting the same shit treatment. It's about time we put our foot down before each press conference give them a list these subjects are off limits Mancini will not answer any questions on them. This is your only warning any person asks a question that's off limits you will be instantly thrown out and banned for 2 weeks for first offence. Big bans for repeat offenders.

There's articles digging up Aguero's marital strife, misquoting Yaya that the "next chapter" means Mancini is going, lining up manager's, Ferran and Txiki have it in for Mancini, that we just want to avoid humiliation on Monday etc etc.

Typical excerpt:

Now, you can read far too much into the scripted words of a footballer – and by “new chapter”, I am sure Toure was referring to the start of his second deal.

But there was no mention of Roberto Mancini.

Samir Nasri mentioned him.

“Mancini has shown a little proof of bad faith when he said he wanted to punch me,” said Nasri before lauding Arsene Wenger as the best coach he has worked with.

ffs. Someone would do well document this stuff, highlight the negative, biased and downright false and unsubstansiated articles and stick it on a website for all to see.

I don't take any notice of the papers either , rarely do they come up with anything worth reading , and as City are having to do all the chasin' right now we are bound to come under fire ...

if the media etc have a go at us when we're winning things then they make themselves look ill informed , and ridiculous ... like they , and the tv pundits , did when Aguero netted that last second title winner!

We have given them 'ammunition' to fire at us this season right from the word go , when they attacked last summers weak transfer activity on our part .... and it will only intensify should we lose tomorrow at Old Trashford , and against Chelsea in the semi final.

I have been very fortunate to be in the inner sanctums at Carrington and have seen players reading the papers. I hope they ignore the shit and use it to spur them on but it worries me that the drip drip policy eventually feeds through.

Just had a glance online at todays press. It's wall to wall negative stuff. Pro rag and let's hammer us for all it's worth. Those who think there is not an agenda may need to think again.
I almost thought what happened last season would see some changes in attitudes. Clearly not.
I think we need to be far more tough on the press. Can you imagine fergiescum being questioned about his players driving or off field activities? Could you see them asking him if his clubs image is tarnished? Either Roberto needs to tell them to fuck off or Vicky Kloss needs to start banning the tossers.

Yep - I though exactly the same this morning as I read the papers.
The bias is bad and its getting worse. I agree we really do need to take some stiffer and proper action. The softly, softly 'lets be friends' approach to media we have has really back fired on us big time. The reporters know they can say anything, absolutely anything about us and there will no comeback or censure whatsoever - so they do. Time to try more direct action. Its the only thing they understand. if a few of then turned to the Etihad and their press passes had been revoked I'm pretty sure they would think twice before they spouted their next load of bile, venom, bias and spite. Why not try it? The current method is very clearly not working.
Clearly not working in what way? The fa cup, premier league wins and whatever this season may yet bring way? We have only ourselves to blame for surrendering the league, so I would say that's nothing to do with the papers, plus we could win the fa cup again. That's potentially 4 trophies in 3 seasons if you count the charity shield so how is the current method not working?
Do you know what I think city do? I think they take the 'its just the papers, who gives a fuck' way of thinking like I and many others do. Our recent success points to that.

its actually a disgrace. not the press, the fact that there are people on here who wont accept that there is an agenda against our club.

clear as day.
its a disgrace that the club take this shit, it smacks of `little city` not worthy to be at the top table with utd , makes me sick & i think enoughs enough & the fans should make it clear to the club that thay MUST take action or we will.
They should gather as many false , biased & downright lies that have been printed over the last 6 months , call a press conference & reveal all in front of the world & ban the culprets on the spot one by one.
I know for a fact there are many city prepared to take the law into their owns hands in that press area & a couple of security guys aren`t going to be enough to stop it.
