It's done. (Speculation Bale to Madrid, Ronaldo to United)

I don't think he will.

If he carries on his form from last season I reckon he will get around 30 goals with those players players around him, but Madrid fans are deluded if they think he will get stats similar to that of Ronaldo, I would be astonished if he matches his figures.

I think Madrid has seen how many times Bale won matches for Spurs last season with spectacular goals and pure brilliance, the amount of match winning goals is the reason Bale has gone for so much in my opinion.

Still though, the fee he is going for is ridiculous and about 40m over what I believe his fee should be. Bale is not the value of nearly two Neymars.

In the current market I think Bale is probably worth £60m.

As for Ronaldo, there is no chance of him going to United this summer.

I'll second this.....for the apparent price tag,he can't afford 1 shit game, otherwise the Madrid fans will be on his back....once your own fans start that, his head will drop and he will crumble...IMO

I can see him doing pretty well on the pitch but he'll never match up to Ronaldo's stats and i can see the Madrid fans turning on Bale at first chance after some bad form/the team losing against poor teams. Few seasons tops and he'll be desperate for a return to England.

Yeah mate, I'd say £60mil. If we'd signed him for that money I wouldn't have had an issue. I suppose though that when you take it over a 6 year deal they are only paying approx £4/5mil per season over that.

Too many big boys at Madrid, who will not want another player coming in and stealing the limelight.....he will fail......I'm sure of it.

It's not very often these days that British players move to the continent, mainly because they're not good enough, but it's easier to stay in England and play a familiar style of football. If Bale does sign for Madrid then best of luck to him, it's a big change for a young lad with a young family and I hope it goes well for him.

Thing is there are world class players in the Madrid team bale isn't his mentality will be interesting if he has a few bad games miss sitters also he will not get the free role he had at spurs I reckon he will play on the right of the front free

With the current market I would say his 60mill that's about it.

I would say that is about right....maybe a little more. He is more valuable to most clubs than Cavani and his fee is a pretty good indicator of the current market.

Bale has the talent to succeed but i'm not sure he has the charisma to match, imo,to be a superstar, the x factor, both on and off the pitch,is required.

I wish him well though and cant wait to see there set up.
