Would seem like a reasonable low risk strategy.....even more so if we widen the points gap during JanuaryDon’t need to sell for Haaland funds we’ve got enough talent coming through the academy i think it’s time for McAtee and Palmer to be properly phased into the team/squad before we spend big money on a striker.
Go and copy and paste my post for the answer you seek :)Nutty. Clarkie?
Why would we sell either of those 2 players? We don’t need the money and we wouldn’t be able to replace them with better playersAs the title suggests...... does anyone have any firm views on who, if anyone, we could or should cash in on to release some cash that we could reinvest on say Haarland?
There are two prime candidates for me
1) Sterling. He's almost back on top of his game and I reckon we could get top dollar for him right now.
2) Jesus. Given the form of the other players around him I feel he is the one who would be missed least, especially if we bring in Haarland (even if we don't get him in January).
One thing is for certain, if we are going to bring someone in, someone will have to make way... I know Torres has gone or is on his way, but I never really considered him a regular.
Thoughts?
