So he gets pissed when released by City and 36 hours before having to report for duty for England. His day off. He's a young lad with a lot of quids in his wallet, what does everyone expect him to do? Stay at home and pick his toenails. The media have it in for England as much as they have it in for us.

For a nation that loves their drink, they sure are critical of a young guy having a night out on his day off.

As long as he doesn't show up to a game or practice, drunk or really hung over, I don't care and neither should anyone else.
